Alagappa University Distance Education MCA Admission

Alagappa University is established in 1985. It’s a public university and located at karaikudi town, sivaganga district In Tamil nadu, India. The town is four hundred kilo meter from south of Chennai. From Madurai and tiruchiraooalli it about two kilo meter by rail or road. The institution is founded by R. M. Alagappa chettiar. In May 1985 by a special act of state government Alagappa university is formed. In 1992 Alagappa University starts Distance education programme in different subjects.  They also offer regular, week end and collaborative modes. The university has 2 constituent colleges 5 centers and 18 departments and 28 affiliated college.

Eligibility for MCA admission:

Candidate should complete graduation from recognized university in mathematics as one subject or post graduate diploma in computer application in any associated discipline and candidate age is not more than eighteen years. Admission is given to the candidate after clearing the entrance examination.

Admission procedure:

Candidate get application form and prospectus  at the university office after paying nominal fees or candidate get application form by post and pay the fees by demand draft in favour of the director at distance education of Alagappa university and pay these fee by nationalized bank at the karaikudi with the name of course.  Admission will open for seven days in a week.

General Information:

The university provides facility like canteen, telecom center, post office, reprographic facility, Banking facility, cooperative stores, school, quarters, employment cell, NSS, Health care center, workshop cum instrumentation center, cultural activities consultancy service and hostel facility. In university there are 3 hostels, 2 hostels for men and 1 hostel for woman student of the university. The hostel rooms are well ventilated and furnished and all hostels are connected with telephone facility.
