Fakir Mohan University Distance Learning MCA Admission  

Fakir Mohan University, at the Vyasa Vihar, in Balasore was recognized by Government of Orissa, beneath Section 32 for Orissa Universities Act, 1989 (the Act 5 for 1989), It was informed vide Government's notice No. 973 on 3rd July, 1999. Fakir Mohan University has been suitably recognized by UGC under the section 2(f) for the UGC Act through Notification No. F-9-1 / 2000 (CPP-I), on 11 February 2000 and under the section 12(B), vide the UGC letter No. F.9-1 /2000 (CPP-I) on 23 December 2005. It is also accredited through Association of Indian Universities, vide the letter No. Meet: SC: 261:2K/108693, on date 22 August 2000. University is implementing from its current campus at the Vyasa Vihar. The new campus at the Nuapadhi has previously started functioning. All P.G. University Departments are computer based. The automation of office as well as library will be completed soon.

The main objective of the MCA program is preparing students for the careers in the software industry as well as understanding to use Computers as well as its application.

Eligibility 

The MCA program is accessible for students passing the BCA or the graduates with the PGDCA from the recognized University or the graduates with the ‘mathematics’ as amongst the independent subjects at the Higher Secondary or the Graduate Level.

Duration of this course is minimum three years and maximum six years from registration date. Fakir Mohan University uses Credit System for post program having 31 courses and 108 credit points.
