Eligibility

Candidates who have cleared Degree Examinations of University of Madras stated below or the examination of other University accepted by the UGC or AIU and recognized by the University as equal to offer they have undertaken the course in 10 + 2 + 3 or 11 + 2 + 2 or 11 + 1 + 3 pattern under Open University System.

B.C.A./B.Com. With Computer Applications, B.Sc. with Computer Science / Physics / Mathematics / Applied Science / Statistics/ (or) B.A. in Economics/ B.L.M. / B.B.A. / B.Com. (Commerce)/B.B.M, B.A. or any Bachelor’s Degree in any other discipline, having Statistics/Mathematics in the Main or Allied level (or) B.Sc. in Chemistry with Physics and Mathematics as related Subjects (or) M.B.A./ B.Tech./B.E. (or) Bachelor’s Degree in one discipline with the Mathematics as one subject at Higher Secondary level. 

Admission Procedure

Admission will be given to those candidates who come to Institute or at Spot Admission Centers or at Study Centers, personally with the necessary original certificates and documents with the fee paid challan, authorized by BANK or demand draft favoring The Director, IDE, University of Madras to be paid at Chennai of necessary fees.
