Annamalai University offers distance-learning education. It provides different type of courses for their students. They provided MCA course in distance learning mode as well. MCA is a 6 semesters and 3 years course. In the year 1929, the University has started with merely seven departments and has developed into the well-known institution.
Candidates requiring admission for the first year of Master of Computer Applications course need to have Three years Bachelor’s Degree later than completing the 10+2 or completing three years Degree after conclusion of three years Diploma from any recognized University.
M.C.A. – 2nd Year
PGDCA, BCA, PGDIT, B.Sc. (IT), B.Sc. (CS), Dual Degree holders from the Annamalai University or MCA 1st year passed or other PG Diploma in the Computer studies via any recognized University having minimum 1 year duration.
M.C.A. – 3rd Year
M.Sc. (CS), M.Sc. (IT), M.Sc. (SE), MCA I & II passed candidates or MBA in Systems, E – Business, E - Commerce with the under graduation in the BCA or B.Sc. (Information Technology, Computer Science, Visual Communication, Computer Technology or B.Tech or B.E. from any renowned University.
To take admissions in the MCA course through distance learning, the candidate needs to fill in an application form, which is accessible on official website of university and submit with the required amount of demand drafts.
Annamalai University prospectus and application form can be received personally by paying cash payment through The Directorate of the Distance Education, Study Centers and Information Centers for the Directorate. Scholarships are also available as per the G.O.Ms.No.73 for the SC / ST unemployed applicants in case their parents’ yearly income does not surpass Rs. 1, 00,000/- per year, according to Rules and Regulations.
