Anna University Distance Education MCA Admission

Anna University was established in September 1978. This is a unitary type university and it is located at Chennai, Tamil nadu, India. Anna University offers education in engineering, applied science and Technology. The university campus is located in southern part of Chennai and it covers 100 acres of area. In 2007-10 The University was split into 6universities these areanna University Tirunelveli, anna university of Technology Madurai, anna university of Technology Coimbatore, anna University Chennai, anna University of technology Chennai, anna university of Technology of Tiruchirappalli. anna University facilitates different post graduate modules like MBA, MCA etc.

Eligibility for MCA admission:

 A candidate must have to complete the graduation in computer science, Mathematics, Information technology, Electronics, software engineering, physics, chemistry and statistics. For the candidates from BCA, B. Tech and BE, the distance education entrance test is conducted by the Anna university.

Examination pattern:

The entrance examination will be designed to test the capability of candidate. Question paper contains following type of question: Analytical reasoning, quantitative ability, computer awareness, logical reasoning and few questions on basic science and verbal activity etc. The question papers have 100 objective type questions and four alternate answers. The Candidate has to choose the correct answer and shade the appropriate circle with blue or black pen. No negative marking system for wrong answer.

Selection Procedure:

Anna University conducts entrance examination for the admission of MCA admission. Admission will be done on the basis of score obtained by the candidate in entrance test.

General Information:

The application form can be bought from university office or download the application form the university website and send the application form to university address with demand draft. The notification for the entrance examination is released in March or April.
