Periyar University Distance Learning MCA Admission

Periyar Institute of Distance Education, situated in Salem, provides different courses like B.Com, B.Sc, B.B.A., B.Sc (IT) and many more through distance learning mode. It also offers professional courses like MBA, MCA, M.Sc (IT) etc through this mode.

Eligibility

For the MCA (Masters of Computer Applications), which is a 3-year degree, the candidates need to have Mathematics at 10 +2 level with any Bachelor degree like B.Com, B.Sc, B.B.A. or B.Sc (IT). For those candidates who want to get lateral entry into the second year of the MCA program, s/he needs to have PGDCA of any renowned University with the graduation. 

Admission Procedure

Prospectus and Application form can be attained personally from The Director, at Periyar Institute of Distance Education (PRIDE), at Periyar University, in Salem-636011, in Tamil Nadu by making Rs.300/- payment for courses like M.Sc. (IT), MCA, & MBA and Rs.100/- to all other courses via Demand Draft. To get prospectus and application form through post, additional amount of Rs 50/- need to be paid in case of any postal charges. The Demand Draft must be taken favoring to the "THE DIRECTOR, PRIDE" to be paid at Salem. 

There is also the condition of downloading the application form via the website www.perivaruniversitv.ac.in. The cost of downloaded application form needs to be paid with admission fee at submission time for the application. Spot admission is possible at the Periyar University and different accepted Study Centers. 

Note: Every student who is pursuing any Under Graduate or Post Graduate course presently in the college may also enroll simultaneously in whichever other Under Graduate or Post Graduate courses of the Periyar Institute of Distance Education, subject to conditions of the eligibility.
