Calicut University BCA Admission
The Calicut University was established in the year 1968. This university is built in Kerala. The objective behind constructing the Calicut University was to spread the higher education in Kerala. They started the University with four Postgraduates courses and extended it to 51 courses till today and have 304 affiliated colleges. The University is located 24 kilometers away from south Calicut. The college campus ha the following buildings namely University administration office, Vice-Chancellor, School of Distance Education, Computer Centre, and University Library, Education Multimedia Research Centre, Pareekesh Bhavan, Academic Staff College. The departments offered by this university are English, Arabic, Biotechnology, Commerce and Management Studies, Botany, Chemistry, Education, History, Hindi, Life Science, Mass Communication and Journalism, Mathematics and Physics.

About Bachelor’s of Computer Application: 
The candidates who will do this course can do advance Computer Application course and can seek a nice job. The can join as a Junior Programmer and can upgrade their knowledge and become a Senior Programmer and can also join in IT and Project Management sectors.

Eligibility Criteria for BCA: 
The candidate who has done his HSC i.e. a pattern of 10+2 and has scored 45% in English as his stream is capable to apply this course.

Admission Process: 
There is an entrance exam which students have to pass. The duration of this course is of three years which is divided it into six semesters.

Subjects for BCA: 
Sem1: -Principles of Management, Computer Fundamentals, Business Communication, Numerical Methods, Particles.

Sem2: - Principle & Algorithms, Office Automation, Organizational Behavior, Elements of Static, Business Environment, Particles. 

Sem3: - C Programming, Digital Computer Design, System Analysis, Database Management, Management Accounts, Computer Laboratory.

Sem4: - Visual Basics, Operating system, Software Engineering, Oracle, Human resource Management, Computer Laboratory.

Sem5: - Web Designing, Data Communication, C++ & OOP, Material Management, Project -1, Computer Laboratory.

Sem6: - Multimedia, Advance Networking, Marketing Management, Project-2, JAVA, Computer Laboratory.
