Kurukshetra University Distance Education MCA Admission

Ever since its foundation at the Kurukshetra University in the year 1976, the DDE (Directorate of Distance Education) and DCC (Directorate of Correspondence Courses) has constantly made the swift strides for taking the education to doorsteps for the masses. From unassuming number of 400 students in 1976, the strength has increased to more than 37000 students. Starting with the Arts subjects, the University has diversified to diverse technical as well as professional courses.

Eligibility

Part 1

Pass in the B.Tech. /B.E. or BBA/BCA or BSIS or BIS or B.Com or B.Sc. in Computer Science from Kurukshetra University or any other recognized University or pass the Bachelor’s Degree in whichever discipline from the Kurukshetra University or other recognized University having Mathematics at 10+2.

Part 2

Pass in the MCA part-1 given that the candidate who need to reappear in less than 50% of papers for the MCA part-1 exam for the Kurukshetra University may also be qualified for the temporary admission in the MCA part-2 subject for passing remaining paper(s) for Part-1 in acceptable number of openings.

Part 3

A person has passed the MCA part 1 and MCA-2 of the Kurukshetra University or the two years of M.Sc. (IT) or M.Sc. in Computer Science or Masters Degree with other areas of the Computer Science through this University or through other recognized University is qualified to join part 3 to this course. The candidate, who has qualified the MCA part 1 and needs to re-appear in not over 50% of papers for the MCA part 3 Exam, of Kurukshetra University are also eligible for joining the MCA part 3 temporarily subject of clearing outstanding paper(s) of the MCA-2 in allowable number of possibilities.
