JNU MCA Admission
Jawaharlal Nehru University was established in 1969 by the act of Indian parliament. The founder of university is India’s 1st lady Prime Minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi on behalf of the death Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru. Jawaharlal Nehru University is located at New Delhi, India. JNU is a research oriented university, and the main aim of the University is to research in the field of Education. University offers various programmes like M. Phil, Ph. D in several streams. The campus area of University is nearly 1000 acres and has the very good bird park which contains different birds and animals. University provides various facilities to the students like free coaching, hostel facility etc.
Eligibility for MCA Admission:
University also offers MCA programme, i.e. Master of Computer Applications. This is a three years master degree programme. To eligible in this programme the candidate must completed the bachelor’s degree in any disciple with mathematics is the compulsory subject in 10+2+3 teaching scheme. The candidates need minimum of 50% marks in bachelor’s degree to get admission in MCA.
Syllabus for the Entrance Exam:
The admissions for MCA are carried out through the entrance examination. The papers of entrance examination mainly covering following areas of subjects or topics: Mathematics which includes Trigonometry, Statistics & Probability and Elementary Numerical Analysis, Logical Ability, Fundamentals of Computer, Elements of Data Structures and C language etc.
General information:
Some seats are reserved for the students which are given as follows: 27% seats for OBC candidate, 15 % for SC, 7 % for ST candidate and 3 % reserved for physically handicapped candidates.
