Banaras Hindu University is the most prominent university in India, which is now achieving international recognition due to its quality education and offering new campus and research center to both Indian and foreign students. Currently university has 2500 research scholars and more 650 foreign students learning. It has recently opened its new campus Rajiv Gandhi South campus where it offers various academic programs only after clearing All India Entrance Test.
BHU offers all the courses in it 2 campus and 3 institutes. Courses in field of science, technology, social science, medicine and other such fields are being offered. The MCA course offered by the university provides good education. University has got good staff which provides all the knowledge of the Computer Application. Student getting master’s degree in MCA from BHU is very well established and have got good scope for students. The MCA course is of 3yrs.
Eligibility for MCA admission:
• Candidate need to be graduated with at least 50% marks from recognized university and even from same university can be eligible.
• Candidate need to attend the eligibility test conducted by university.
• Candidate has to take Mathematics subject as compulsory subject.
Entrance Exam for MCA admission:
University conducts entrance exam called Postgraduate Entrance Test (PET) conducted in the year May/June. Apart from it the marks of AIMCET conducted by IITs are also considered. The entrance exam consists of 450 marks which should be completed in 150 minutes with multiple type objective questions consisting of Analytical test and Mathematics question.
Admission Process for MCA:
The admission process for foreign and Indian students is different. The application form can be obtained from university campus by paying specific amount through DD drawn under the favor of BHU. The same can be downloaded from the university website http://www.bhu.ac.in . Forms are out usually in the month of January.
