Maharshi Dayanand University was established in the year of 1976. The University is located in the Rohtak city which is at Haryana. Maharshi Dayanand University is named after in the memory of great Saint Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati. It also calls as MDU. MDU is one of the best and impressive universities of the north India. They also act as an affiliating university and provide several programs through various colleges. University also provides distance education programmes. This University was established under the act of Legislative Assembly of Haryana state. Maharshi Dayanand University was approved by University grant commission, i.e. UGC. They offer various programmes in the field of study at Graduate, under graduate and doctorate level. The University offers three years MCA course in English and Hindi medium through distance education mode.
Eligibility for MCA Admission:
The candidate should have the Bachelor Degree in Computer application, Computer information science, information technology and Computer science with 50 % marks from recognized university. Non computer science student like B. Tech, or other graduate required to pursue CIT. Graduate with PGDCA from different universities are also eligible.
For ST and SC student minimum is passing marks required for qualifying examination. The university intake capacity is above 200 seats for MCA admission. Admission notification is generally released in July every year.
