Kakatiya University Distance Education MCA Admission

The SDLCE (School of Distance Learning & Continuing Education) was recognized in year 1988 to assist students, who might not get chance to follow higher studies via regular stream. The school provides 75 programs at dissimilar levels via 70 study centers including the 16 MoU centers with around 35000 students. Apart from the classroom teaching, some audio-video programs are also organized individually as element of learning process. The school transmits lessons and organizes phone-in-programs via Warangal station and All India Radio. It regularly introduces the research journal named Kaktiya Journal of Distance Education as well as a newsletter.

The School has recognized the Media Production Centre having financial assistance through DEC and is producing the audio-video lessons. Institution has developed several creative activities for others to acclimatize. This School has assumed the two-way research with compatible organizations like Open Learning Society, Indian Distance Education Association, and zenith bodies like Distance Education Council, in New Delhi, Athabasca University, Canada, and Commonwealth of Learning, Canada.

The School of Distance Learning & Continuing Education is recognized as the Nodal Agency for undertaking Training and Research for field of the Distance Education with establishment of the DEQSTI (Distance Education Quality Support & Training Institute) with the full financial support from Distance Education Council, in New Delhi and below its sponsorship, it has planned numerous programs. 

Eligibility

MCA (Master of Computer Applications) is a 3-year program. For it, the candidate needs to pass the qualifying exam with mathematics as if one of subjects in Degree course is qualified for the admission. Applicants, who passed the qualifying exam without Mathematics, like one of subjects in Degree Course, are qualified for the admissions in case they pass the 10+2 exam with Mathematics.
