Guru Jambheshwar University Distance Learning MCA Admission
The Act of Legislature of State of Haryana recognized Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology situated in Hisar on 20 October 1995. It has objectives for facilitating and promoting studies as well as research to emerge areas of the higher education focusing on the new frontiers of pharmacy, technology, non-conventional energy sources, environmental studies, and management studies. It also aims in achieving excellence in all these and associated fields. It was officially inaugurated on 1 November 1995. It has its name after Guru Jambheshwar Ji Maharaj, who was a saint ecologist of the 15th century.
The University has exceptional distinction of being accepted by UGC (University Grants Commission) under the Section 2(f) for the recognition of degrees and, under the section 12(B) for UGC Act to become eligible for fundamental assistance on date 7.2.1997, inside the 15 months of the coming into the being. This University selected for the authorization by the NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council), which is an independent organization of UGC (University Grants Commission), in the year 2001-02. Because of this work out, the NAAC certified this University as "A" level institution (institutional score of 85%).

Admission Procedure
The prospectus may be attained from Directorate of Distance Education, at Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, at Hisar or through any university approved study centre, by paying Rs.400/- cash (Rs.100/- for the SC/BC applicants of Haryana). It can also received through post by sending Demand Draft of Rs.450/- (Rs.150/- to the SC/BC applicants of Haryana) favoring the Registrar, GJUS&T, at Hisar. The prospectus forms may also be downloaded through university website www.gjust.ac.in. The students may also submit the admission form either directly at Directorate of Distance Education or at the Study Centers. The list of study centers is accessible on the University website. The demand draft of cost of the prospectus should be attached with the downloaded form.
