Kurukshetra University was established in 1956. The University was founded by Late Dr. Rajendra Prasad. He was the first president of independent India. The University locates at the Kurukshetra, Haryana. University has the 400 acres of campus area. The campus is situated on the bank of the Brahma Sarover. The aim of the University is to prepare the class of professionals with good human values. Kurukshetra University offers various courses in different faculties. University offers BCA programme. BCA stands for Bachelor of Computer application. This is a three years full time course and the admission details about this course are given below.
Eligibility for the BCA:
To get the admission in the BCA programme candidate must have to pass the 12th examination or higher secondary examination with any recognized board in India. The required faculty for the admission is Science, other than science faculty are not eligible for the admission. Candidate must have the Indian citizen for the admission.
The admissions for the BCA programme are done on the base of 12th examination marks. By considering 12th marks merit list is formed and admissions are carried out. The higher mark candidate is listed top on the merit list. Merit list is form by considering the available seats. Some seats are reserved for the candidates who are from the reserved category.
