Calicut University MCA Admission
Calicut University is situated in thenjipalam in district of malappuram, Kerala, India. The university was set up in 1968 and it was second university started in Kerala. The university is main hub of academic activity of Calicut city. Master in computer application is a degree which makes career in information technology. The university offers MCA programs in following affiliated collegesPMA Building in Palakkad, Muttil in Wayanad,KKTM College in Pullut, Kerala Tower in Manjeri, Dr. John Mathai Centre and Pudukad in thrissur,MES Kalladi College in Mannarkad, Thalikulamand University Study Centre in Calicut. Candidate who wants to get admission for the MCA programme they should give entrance examination.
Eligibility for MCA admission:
Candidate should be commerce or science graduate with 60 % marks and 50 % marks total in optional subjects like mathematics or statistics. If the student have optional subject like business statistics, business mathematics these student are not eligible for the entrance test, BCA, B.SC in information technology, electronics, computer science are also eligible. B.Tech graduate with 50 % marks are also eligible. Candidate who waiting for results in above mentioned courses are also eligible.
Selection procedure:
Selection of candidate is done on the basis of entrance examination which is conducted by the university.
Examination pattern:
The duration of examination is 2 hour and total question 150. The paper contain 40 mathematics question, 15 question for computer awareness,15 question for general English, analytical ability as well as general knowledge 50 question each.
