Annamalai University was commenced in 1979. Annamalai University offers four hundred different programs for candidates. Here the students get very nice facilities like computer training centre, adequate teaching staff, study centre, administrative set-up and it also includes its own computer and infrastructure facilities. Annamalai University also offers course like postgraduates degree programmers in Law, Chemistry, Applied Psychology, Zoology, Physics, Botany and Bioinformatics. The Distance Education also offers the following sub courses which they have started recently like Fashion Design, Interior Design, Textile Design, and Catering technology, Hotel Management, Twining Programmers and Rental Management, Health Science, Music, Yoga, Pharmaceutical and Taxation Programmer.
Eligibility for Admission:
The candidates who are willing to apply for the first year in Master of Computer Application must have the follow the given rules.
The candidate must have three years of Bachelor’s Degree. If the candidate must have mathematics as a subject up to 12th or in Diploma if not then the candidates should undergo bridge programmed which has duration of a week.
About Master of Computer Application:
Master of Computer Application consists of 6 semester and all students have 8 years to successfully complete their course.
The subjects are as follows:
First Semester: - Accounting and Financial Management, Data Structure and Algorithms, Programming Lab 1 and 2, UNIX (C, C++), Data Logic and Computer Organization, Numerical Methods.
Second Semester: - Distributed Operating System, Computer Networks, Computer Architecture and Micro Processor, Advance RDBMS, Visual Programming, Programming Lab 3 and 4.
Third Semester: - Multimedia and its Application, Advance Java, Software Engineering, Principles of Complier Design, Programming Lab 5 and 6.
Fourth Semester: - Web Designing, E-Commerce, Network Management and Administrator, Programming Lab 7 and 8.
Fifth Semester: - Network Security, Computer Graphics and Image Processing, Unfiled Modeling Language, Programming Lab 9 and 10.
Sixth Semester: - Project and Viva.
